Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our company as Finance Controller. As an integral member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Sr Finance Controller in managing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial information. The Finance Controller will assist with financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance activities.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Senior Finance Controller in preparing and analysing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making purposes.

Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve financial performance.

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.

Monitor and report on key financial metrics, variances, and risks to management.

Support the Finance Controller in managing the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Help ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

Assessing the risk and control environment across the process at regular intervals and assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.

Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support.

Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and changes in accounting standards to ensure compliance and optimize financial operations.

Qualifications:

Qualified ACA or CMA

8-13 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial concepts, and financial statement analysis.

Proficiency in using financial software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes.

Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

Ability to translate strategic priorities into operational reality, demonstrating strong decision-making skills and ability to deliver key business results.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.

Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior in handling sensitive financial information.
