Job Summary

The Pricing Analyst will implement and control acquisition and customer pricing within established business guidelines, for new and existing business to meet the growth and profit objectives. Utilize personal skills, business expertise, customer and product knowledge to support internal and external customers. Deliver accurate price authorization to achieve business sales and profit objectives.

Scope:

This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Global Pricing. As an active contributor, the incumbent recommends courses of action which would enable the business to meet its financial and business objectives. Analyst should be an expert in a variety of SAP and web-based applications. The incumbent is responsible for making recommendations concerning practices and procedures to strengthen internal control and improve efficiency. This position will provide ad-hoc analytical support to Sales and Marketing to enhance their ability to sell with the goal of maximizing revenue and profitability.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure application of Corporate Financial Policies, establish and maintain internal control procedures within area of responsibility.
  • Manage and execute projects, owning and comprehending the process from end to end, always considering key stakeholders.
  • Support and implement strategic pricing initiatives through accurate and timely processing of new and existing price agreements and acquisition price.
  • Identify and resolve pricing discrepancies with priority relating to invoices, deductions and chargebacks.
  • Analyze and interpret key task, communicating clearly and providing actionable recommendations through team collaboration to drive growth and profitability.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing and Finance by developing strong and open relationships with all teams, while displaying professional communication skills.
  • Support cross functional teams; collaboration with internal and external business partners.
  • Demands a high-level of MS Excel competency, strong business acumen, an aptitude with quantitative analysis, and effective communication skills.
  • Implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives that drive positive change and development within the business.

Qualifying Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or closely related field
  • 5+ years of pricing or related customer financial experience is required. 
  • Broad-based knowledge of the Health Care Industry, including GPO groups, IHN organizations, Pricing and Special Programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Pricing Professional designation (preferred)
  • Technical: Expert knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Word); SAP systems.
  • Understand distributor end-user sales information, chargebacks and tracings, and pricing administration.
  • Must have leadership qualities including customer-centric, global mindset, results-driven, collaborative, candor and speed. 
  • Key skills required are excellent analysis capability, excellent written and oral communication skills, motivated to learn and teach.
  • The ability to quickly learn and leverage systems is strongly preferred, as well as understanding of system interrelationships.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and translate business needs and goals to business processes and reports.
