Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Developer to join our e-commerce team. As Lead Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology infrastructure in building and maintaining world-class e-commerce experiences. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, ensuring that our platform is scalable, secure, and aligned with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership to a small team of developers
  • Implement and support best development practices
  • Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements to our Shopify platform
  • Provide technical expertise during our migration from Magento
  • Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of our platform and integrations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including e-commerce, customer service and enterprise IT, to understand and address business needs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce technologies and trends

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience developing Shopify platforms and related e-commerce technologies is critical
  • 6+ years of experience as a full-stack developer
  • Strong leadership experience (minimum 2 years) with the ability to guide and inspire a development team.
  • Expert knowledge of Javascript/HTML/CSS and related libraries/frameworks
  • Solid experience with at least one server-side language such as Ruby or Python.
  • Experience in a DevOps environment, deploying to, and managing services on AWS or Google Cloud
  • Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with integration and/or migration of ERPs
  • Development experience with Wordpress and Magento

Compensation:

$130,000.00 - $140,000.00
