Job Overview:

APTIM is seeking Electrical Engineering Interns to join our team of engineering professionals serving our Government and Commercial programs.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Work activities include collection and interpretation of engineering data, development of project design basis, development of specifications, and performance of detailed engineering.
  • Ensures conformance to applicable engineering codes and standards as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Is aware of costs and schedule related to own work.
  • Organizes own work to meet deadlines set by others.
  • Communicates information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
  • Contributes to a team environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, 0 -- 1 years related experience
  • Has basic knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in electrical engineering.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and technical engineering software, some CADD experience along with good verbal and writing skills.
  • FE and EIT candidates preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and in a diverse team setting
  • Willingness to work across Engineering disciplines
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
