NVIDIA's Cloud data centers host ground-breaking products across high-performance computing to machine learning applications for autonomous vehicles and healthcare. At the heart of our data centers (DCs) is the ability to engineer mechanical and electrical designs in close coupling to NVIDIA's industry-leading GPU and DGX products! We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Omniverse intern passionate about data center's Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) to join us to design, maintain and optimize data centers' critical infrastructure components. The position will help in crafting opportunities for working closely with experienced experts in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing disciplines, gaining hands-on experience in DCs.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with the MEP team to contribute in the designing and planning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for DC projects.
  • Utilize CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks to draft and design purposes. Candidates are encouraged to show any previous experience with ANSYS, Comsol, Modulus, Bousch.
  • Participate in the commissioning process of air and liquid cooling systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings to ensure accurate implementation and integration of systems.
  • Provide crucial support in project management activities, ensuring alignment with industry standards. Assist in coordinating with contractors and reviewing project schedules.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and drawings for MEP systems, adhering to industry standards.
  • Engage in multi-functional collaboration with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure the flawless tasks.

What we need to see:

  • Pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD and BIM software for drafting and design purposes.
  • Understanding of MEP systems, Building Codes safety standards in data centers,
  • Knowledge on standard processes in plumbing with a focus on air and liquid cooling and their integration within data center environments.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++ and knowledge on NVIDIA Omniverse Platform.

The hourly rate for our interns is 19 USD - 93 USD. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
