ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Digital Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the digital strategy across the paid media channels for our SME Line of Business in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager. You’re able to understand how these channels can work in unison to help MYOB achieve its ambitious online goals, whilst also being able to hone into the details of each of these areas individually and effectively optimize them in line with the latest trends.

Beyond the Digital Marketing team, educating others about digital and socialising insights and results in a proactive manner will be a vital component to success as MYOB’s Digital Lead. Within the team, you will show leadership by managing Digital marketing Specialists and assistants, mentoring them, and supporting their development.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital marketing strategies
  • Strong and active campaign management to optimize media spend and campaign performance to drive growth trends (traffic and sign ups) whilst minimising media spend wastage.
  • Continuous review of landing page and on-site performance to optimise conversion rates to Trial and Sale with a structured ‘test & learn’ optimisation plan
  • Thorough knowledge of search ranking factors, key algorithm updates, and new paid search features
  • Relevant experience with campaign management toolsets (Google Ads and/or Google Marketing Platform) and web analytics (Google Analytics / GA4).
  • Experience creating & increasing demand in a B2B environment, developing outcome driven acquisition strategies and operational plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Planning and managing projects in a cross functional environment

Our ideal candidate will go beyond just week-to-week tactical implementations on these channels and is responsible for driving forward a holistic, expansive digital strategy for MYOB that results in more conversions.
