PROPEL Health Botswana - Technical Advisor Human Resources for Health
Project Overview and Role:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To support the MOH in its health system strengthening efforts, the Technical Advisor will be embeded full time in the MOH’s Health Policy, Research, and Development Department in Gaborone, Botswana. S/he provides senior level technical expertise in human resources for health (HRH) and other health systems functions, in addition to providing technical direction and support to consultants and grant recipients of PROPEL Health.
The Technical Advisor will report to the PROPEL Health Country Director in Botswana, providing updates on activity status and progress, and share results, best practices and lessons learned. Additional technical support will be available through PROPEL global technical experts.

The Technical Advisor, HRH serves as the direct liaison between PROPEL Health and the Ministry of Health on issues related to HRH under the leadership of the Country Director and alongside other PROPEL Health staff. Outlined below are some of the Specific Tasks for the Technical Advisor, HRH:
