JOB SUMMARY

The Sr HR Technology Analyst position provides support to the development and maintenance of various technology applications by gathering requirements, creating complex queries/reports, creating complex SQL statements, conducting analysis and configuring PeopleSoft HRMS and PeopleSoft CRM (Help Desk). This position is also responsible for creating test scripts, executing testing, working with the development team to troubleshoot issues, identify solutions and coordinate the implementation of system resolutions. The Senior HR Technology Analyst is responsible for supporting of SOX compliance audits for various applications. This position is also responsible for modifying configuration tables and identifying and analyzing down-stream impacts to configuration changes. The Senior HR Technology Analyst partners and collaborates with various internal and external customers across the enterprise.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create standard functional specifications for production support development and acts as a testing lead for production support maintenance request and issues that arise
  • Create test scripts for execution during unit testing and system integration testing that are based on the functional specifications for change requests as well as small, medium and large projects
  • Serve as a HR Functional Team Subject Matter Expert providing knowledge regarding various technology applications including PeopleSoft HRMS and PeopleSoft CRM (Helpdesk)
  • Create complex queries using PeopleSoft query tools and SQL for data metrics, data validation, and surveys
  • Serve as support to SOX compliance audit initiatives which may include modifying configuration, verifying secure changes, responding to inquiries and providing guidance to the Access Management team
  • Support systematic upgrade efforts for PeopleSoft modules to include design, configuration, testing and implementation
  • Configure core PeopleSoft module tables to meet user requests or organizational changes
  • Responsible for leading year-end cyclical processes specific to assigned responsibilities
  • Document and deliver systems-related training to various levels of the organization
  • Serve as an escalation point for advanced system/technology issues to determine root cause analysis, identifies and implements potential solutions for HRMS, CRM and application security
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • PS Query knowledge
  • SQL Knowledge
  • Extensive PeopleSoft HRMS knowledge – version 9.1 or higher
  • Ability to adhere to established processing timeframes and make decisions independently.
  • Experience in data mining, data validation and analysis
  • Experience in continuous process improvement, including technology upgrades and implementation
  • Proven analytical capacity and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interact, partner and influence staff in various levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and orientation to detail
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation
  • Strategic thinking skills with demonstrated experience developing and implementing solutions to issues
  • Facilitator, skilled at leading projects and initiatives
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with shifting priorities
  • Ability to anticipate problems, respond accordingly, and work independently
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Visio, SharePoint and PowerPoint
  • Understanding and demonstrated application of SDLC and project methodology

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent related work experience

Experience working in a HR technology or analytical role - 5+
