THE ROLE

Edelman Data & Intelligence (DXI) is looking for an Account Manager to join our team in Dubai. As an Account Manager, you will manage medium to large-scale projects including primary (quantitative and/or qualitative) and/or secondary research methodologies. The role involves working with clients, internally and externally, to build relationships and deliver projects with the support of our team in the UAE and across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project design:
  • Methodological design (primary and/or secondary): scope of work, research tools, deliverables… 
  • Project planning and internal resource management 
  • Tracking project-related costs and revenues to ensure their commercial profitability. 
  • Production:
  • Data analysis from primary and secondary sources.
  • development of recommendations and key insights.
  • Creation of presentation for internal & external stakeholders.
  • Project management:
  • ensure clint satisfaction.
  • working on multiple projects at the same time.
  • managing stakeholders' relations both internal and external.
  • People management:
  • Efficiently delegating tasks and setting clear goals for more junior team members 
  • Providing team members with ongoing constructive feedback 
  • Training junior profiles and sharing knowledge when relevant. 
  • Business Development:
  • Proposal writing, including methodological design and costing. 
  • Developing presentations using visual storytelling 
  • Identifying growth opportunities for existing clients 

Key Requirements

  • University degree in business, marketing, communications, social or political science, statistics, economics, or any other relevant field.
  • Previous hands-on experience within Research & Insights either at an agency or in-house.
  • Strong understanding of the Middle East region, including its cultural nuances, geopolitical landscape, and business environment.
  • Arabic and English fluency.
  • Hands-on experience in data and statistical analysis tools.
  • Ability to take ownership of a variety of tasks, a ‘can-do’ attitude. 
  • Curiosity and problem-solving mindset. 
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to articulate and communicate ideas and thoughts. 
  • Understanding and being open to working with people from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience with a mix of data and insight stools is a strong advantage. This may include – but not limited to – social listening tools (Brandwatch, TalkWalker, Meltwater, Synthesio...), audience intelligence solutions (Global Web Index, Demographics Pro...), trends analysis platforms (Insider Intelligence, Mintel, Google Trends, WARC...), etc.
