Job Description:

If you are passionate about Linux and eager to kick-start your career in systems administration, we encourage you to apply for our Linux Systems Administrator Internship. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux operating systems.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the security and integrity of the Linux systems.
  • Perform regular system backups and implement disaster recovery plans.
  • Assist in the deployment and management of applications on Linux servers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Linux administration.
  • Understand fundamentals of Linux servers administration
  • Automation using Python, Perl or Bash scripting
  • Automation using Ansible for configuration management

Requirements/Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Learn fundamentals of LDAP authentication
  • Research solutions for complex issues in a Linux-based environment
  • Provide remote support to users in design centers worldwide
  • Experience with a job scheduling tool like LSF or Sungrid, is a plus
