The Brand Activation team is responsible for bringing the brand to life within our communities. Whether it's supporting D2C activations at the largest sporting and athletics events, inspiring our B2B retailers or leading a community run club to ensure our products and On’s story connects with our consumers - you’ll play a huge part in supporting On’s commercial goals; whilst having a lot of fun doing so!

As our Interim Brand Activation Specialist supporting maternity cover for 1 year at On, you will work with the Austria local market team to develop and deliver the brand activation plan. You will build authentic, meaningful relationships and partnerships that position On at the heart of our communities - helping grow On’s fan base and connection with runners and movers. You are a true brand ambassador, consistently driving engagement with the brand and are deeply connected to what is happening within our community.

Your Mission

  • Driving brand education is at the heart of being a Brand Activation Specialist at On. Assuring that On’s in store employees and retail partners are always up to date with the latest brand and product training. Your goal is to facilitate successful communication of On’s brand history and innovative product technology to our customers in order to turn retail into On fans.
  • Building and strengthening relationships with retail partners and local communities is in the DNA of this role. This will involve coordinating and executing trade marketing and selling events in close collaboration with internal commercial teams to amplify On’s brand E.g running or product test events.
  • Acting as the hands on the ground and supporting the Marketing team by ensuring the highest quality of visual merchandising and POS installations to showcase On’s products.
  • Taking initiative to engage, educate and manage freelance brand activation and VM team and supporting coordination or their work schedules.
  • Administration of all of your activities in our CRM-Software. This is a small but crucial part of your contribution to your team.

Your story

  • Ideally 1-3 years relevant experience in brand activation AKA technical representative roles or related experience in retail, sales, marketing or events.
  • This is a 1 year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave so you should be happy to work a fixed term.
  • A passion for people and movement is paramount for all Brand Activators to thrive at On. And of course an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Building and maintaining relationships is not just a strength but a motivator for you. You have a finger on the pulse of sports and movement communities and love connecting with people in them.
  • Adaptable and hands on. Our team navigates changing environments and unexpected challenges in the field with a solutions oriented approach.
  • C2 level or Fluent German and proficient English (as this is our shared professional language at On) is required for this regional position.
  • As this is a regional field role, you are ideally located in Vienna or within proximity to the city.
  • Drivers license and a proclivity for being on the road.
  • A commitment to bringing sales & marketing initiatives to life in order to reach overall sales targets.
  • Ability to excite our retail partners and ignite local communities about On’s brand with excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • You’ll be trusted to work autonomously managing your own workload and scheduling so being self-motivated, highly resourceful and organized is key to thriving in this role.
