Join the Digital Localisation team at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as we undergo digital transformation.

ROLE SUMMARY:

This role will be responsible for leading and optimizing our Simplified Chinese websites to create engaging experiences that attract visitors and drive conversions, ultimately supporting our business objectives.

As the Digital Localisation Specialist, you will handle localisation of our websites. Collaborate with local teams to create local relevant content. Partner with global stakeholders to develop and implement strategy that optimises digital experiences to raise awareness of LSEG’s thought leadership and drive high-quality leads in the local market. With your expertise in utilising insight data and tools, you will surface new site capabilities for user journeys enhancement, improve engagement and conversion.

To excel in this position, it would be important to possess outstanding Putonghua and English language communication skills, strong project management capabilities with an eye for detail, be flexible and adaptable with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Highly motivated with a positive demeanor is also desirable. Additionally, being technically savvy, able to learn new concepts and technologies quickly.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Handle creation, update and enhancement of web page content on the Simplified Chinese sites
  • Lead translation agency on localisation of websites content to ensure they remain up-to-date with the English sites.
  • Review translated materials - web page, images, video transcript, charts, documents - to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure translated content follows basic SEO best practices (H1, H2, H3, meta descriptions, and keyword implementation)
  • Use project management tool e.g. Workfront to organise and monitor translation projects, provide status updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure all websites meet accessibility guidelines.
  • Run A/B tests of sites to find the optimal digital approach in local market.
  • Leverage insights from tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Demandbase, ContentKing to develop strategy to optimise growth.
  • Collaborate with local marketing team to support local initiatives.
  • Prepare regular website performance reports to update management on progress.
  • Support the Search Marketing team on local language paid search campaigns localisation and optimisation.
  • Support ad hoc initiatives from other teams.
  • Occasional calls outside regular business hours required to support global partners in other time zones.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis and analyse user behaviour/journey to inform strategy and decisions.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Excellent Putonghua and English communication and influencing skills.
  • 2+ years of experience handling multi-language website, translation projects, content authoring, UX design, analytics.
  • Experience creating optimal web experiences and user journeys following best practices.
  • Track record of designing and implementing data-driven digital strategies to drive traffic and conversion.
  • Good understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first strategies.
  • Proven knowledge of full digital marketing mix including SEO, SEM, A/B testing and personalisation, analytics, and reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, with strong prioritisation and project management skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate and handle stakeholder effectively.
  • Dedicated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
  • Experience with Content Management System preferably Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Experience using tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, ContentKing, Demandbase for analytics and optimization.
  • History working on Online Video Platform like Kaltura and handling translation of video transcription.
  • Basic understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
  • Track record handling large-scale, sophisticated website projects.
  • Previous experience working with translated materials in an international multicultural environment.
  • Familiar with paid advertising platforms and social channels
