Job Description

As a Business Immigration Consultant within a high-performing immigration team, you will be recognized as a technical subject matter expert. With a strong foundation in the technical aspects of Thailand immigration law and regulations, you will provide immigration services (including advisory guidance on large-scale projects and consultations) to Fragomen’s most valued clients, facilitate discussions on immigration developments within the team, and liaise between your team members and managers. 

As an ambassador for Fragomen, you will help enhance the Firm’s profile to both internal and external stakeholders by modelling best practices. Your day-to-day responsibilities will mainly entail client-facing advisory work, attending to the administrative aspects of your case work, and any work assigned to you by your managers. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adopt a client-centric approach, to effectively provide immigration services for the Firm’s clients across diverse industries and maintain a healthy workload (proportionate to the team).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and trust with clients.
  • Escalate client complaints or issues timely to the Manager, actively contribute towards formulating solutions and next steps.
  • Ensure effective case management with the support of junior team members where applicable.
  • Has built up, and will continue to build, a strong foundation of all country-relevant immigration processes, through continuous self-study and research (in collaboration with the team).
  • Coordinate with administrative team to ensure timely and comprehensive case updates within Fragomen Connect. 
  • Support and coordinate with billing teams to ensure timely excellent and timely billing processes.
  • Proactively offer out-of-scope services to clients, and identify new business opportunities for the Firm.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business English, Law or related field.
  • Ideally more than 3 years of work experience in the fields of immigration or mobility.
  • Fluent in English language communication and written skills 
  • Reliable and conscientious with a good eye for detail, possesses a strong client service mentality and demonstrates strong analytical and judgment skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office program,
  • Exhibits strong accountability and personal leadership qualities, preferably with a proven track record as team lead with experience in mentoring colleagues
  • Capable of managing a high number of tasks simultaneously with high precision and setting priorities accordingly.
  • A proven track record in resolving client problems and escalations modelling best practices
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the firm’s service ethics and executes their role with a respect for the Firm’s values which include: a business orientation, agility, innovation and confidentiality
