Senior Technical Program Manager

Priceline is looking for a world class, high energy Senior Technical Program Manager to join the Mobile Apps team to support and improve our business processes. In this critical role, you will partner with Product and Tech leaders to plan, design and drive the execution of projects to make big deal moments for our customers, and to ensure that we remain competitive, and get the work done.

In this role you will get to:

  • As a core member of a ‘triad’ comprising Product, Development and Program leadership,you will be responsible for the cohesive cross-functional planning, execution and delivery of the strategic technology projects, programs and portfolios of work that make big deal moments for our customers.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders and program contributors to set quarterly team goals that align to Priceline’s Hotel product development roadmaps. 
  • Translate the program’s complex processes into concrete deliverables, and shepherd these deliverables from definition to deployment across the organization. 
  • Ensure accurate and current information is shared broadly with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Contribute your ideas and best practices to be leveraged by your peers in the Product & Program team.
  • Manage & mentor three or more agile scrum teams of mobile application developers, making sure all sprint ceremonies are effective - including daily standups, sprint planning, story pointing, demos and retrospectives. 
  • Guides the scrum teams on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
  • Promote and utilize business intelligence reporting and metrics, acting as an ambassador for measurement, accountability and a disciplined approach to process improvement throughout the Priceline organization. Utilize your experience in Agile management to design processes and manage program execution.

Who you are:

  • 9+ years of Program Management experience in a technology organization (preferably ecommerce), running a variety of product development, infrastructure, compliance, security or privacy programs. 
  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Information Systems and Technology, Computer Science, Management, or Business Administration
  • You are someone who possesses assertiveness and diplomacy, and achieves team cohesion, while integrating and aligning corporate initiatives.
  • You have a proven ability to juggle and balance conflicting priorities, to build best in class solutions with an eye for fine details, and to break down high-level problems and articulate solutions to both business and technical audiences
  • Strong Jira and Confluence experience.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with Agile methodology,techniques, and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban to deliver solutions.

Flexible work at Priceline

Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
