ERM Digital Services is seeking a Global Product Compliance / Product Safety Technology Solutions Consultant within our North America business unit to join our global practice. Emphasis on the SAP Product Stewardship solution suite, the successful candidate will have Product Safety (PS) and Product Compliance (PC) global regulatory, business process and technical solution design / implementation experience. Demonstrated functional knowledge of GHS classification system and global SDS and labeling requirements. SDS and label technology solution design & deployment desired. Strong global supply chain product compliance regulatory requirement knowledge including TSCA, REACh, chemical control inventories, RoHS, ingredient disclosure, etc. Hazardous materials transport classification and modes of transport regulations a plus. Ideal candidate has both process manufacturing (chemicals sector) as well as discrete manufacturing business process and requirements demonstrated experience.
The successful candidate will have hands on SAP EHS PS solution functionality including the core specification database data model design (hierarchy, compositions, inheritance, value assignment, etc.), safety data sheet authoring and distribution (SDS), label authoring and generation (GLM), hazardous materials / dangerous goods classification and shipping (DG) and global product compliance / substance volume tracking (SVT) is desired. Additional SAP EHS PS technical skills including Word for Windows (WWI) template building and management, third party specification data loading and management (OCC / ADM), expert rules configuration and management (Expert) and EHS PS infrastructure design, configuration and management including Generation server (GenPC) and Expert servers highly valued. Prior SDS authoring experience a plus.
Familiarity with the S4 HANA Product Compliance (PC) functionality and development roadmap as well as ECC to S4 HANA migration strategy in the SAP EHS PS/PC space is highly desirable. SAP EHS operations implementation experience including Incident Management (IM), Environmental Management (EM), Management of Change (MoC), and Health & Safety (H&S) is significantly positive for candidates.
