Answer incoming calls from customers/clients to answer inquiries and questions, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems and provide information. Answer phones professionally from external/internal customers/clients.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Answer incoming telephone inquiries including, but not limited to, requests for general account information, concerns related to contributions and withdrawals, how to make changes to an account, product information and tax questions. Complexity and scope of questions based on level.
  • Addresses questions or concerns in relation to investments.
  • Assist participants through the navigation of the automated voice response system as well as the Web Site
  • Submits requests for research and follow-up if needed after the initial call. May be required to make outbound calls if necessary. Expectation determined by level.
  • Review, comprehend and implement all new communication regarding plan updates and changes.
  • Run disbursement quotes, respond to managerial feedback, and attend meetings and training sessions.
  • In addition to answering caller inquiries, representatives will provide callers with education regarding retirement readiness.
  • Consistent adherence to work schedule and punctuality required.
  • Overtime may be required.

EDUCATION:

  • Associate’s Degree Preferred

REGISTRATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSING REQUIRED:

  • Fingerprinting required

OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in relevant computer applications. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Good keyboard skills.
  • Knowledge of administration and clerical processes.
  • Relevant product knowledge Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Spanish required.

Normal Office Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as but not limited to; computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Many duties will be done while sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms

The salary range below shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Base Salary Range

$ 35,600.00-48,950.00
