Job Description

We are a dynamic and innovative company committed to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers. With a focus on continuous improvement and technological advancements, we are seeking a highly skilled and visionary professional to join our leadership team as the Vice President of Digital Store Products. 

As the Vice President of Digital Store Products, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of our store digital experiences for both customers and store team members to ensure an industry leading experience. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of product management principles and philosophies, a broad technical acumen, retail processes, and the ability to drive innovation in our product vision and roadmaps. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic vision for digital store products, aligned with the overall business objectives. 
  • Team Management: Lead and inspire a high-performing team of product managers, system architects, and developers to achieve excellence in store systems development. 
  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and integration of digital store products with other business functions. 
  • Innovation: Drive continuous innovation in digital store products digital store products, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and overall business performance. 
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that digital store products adhere to regulatory compliance and security standards, implementing measures to safeguard sensitive data. 
  • Performance Monitoring: Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the performance and effectiveness of digital store products, making data-driven decisions for improvement. 
  • Budget Oversight: Manage the budget for digital store products, optimize resource allocation and ensuring cost-effectiveness. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Marketing or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 
  • Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing product management and store systems in a retail, hospitality (hotel or restaurant) or relevant industry. 
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, technology trends, and best practices in product management. 
  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and manage change in a dynamic business environment. 
  • Experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and budget oversight. 
  • Proven history of leading large innovations efforts, including stage gate management.

  • Candidate MUST be located in Ann Arbor, MI or willing to relocate.
