Responsibilities: 

Perform installation, configuration, and administration of Microsoft SharePoint Web application platform within a small engineering team. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance on software application related issues. Manage and monitor SharePoint permissions, disk space usage, and server functionality. Analyze and report on site and disk space usage, growth, and activity. May require a strong understanding of software architecture and programming principles. Develop front-end customization to provide unique views based on customer requirements. Manage a SharePoint server environment on multiple networks and identify and resolve technical problems during portal implementation and rollout. Collaborate with the customer and other mission groups and develop site usage reports and disk quota management. 

Workflow development, SharePoint Designer, and Workflows experience is necessary. 

Ability to create clear and concise process documentation. Experience with Portal site customization, including setting up securities, designing site structure and content types. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Technical awareness of Enterprise Content Management Systems. Experience with Web Front End servers, Index servers, Search Servers, Central Administrator servers, and SQL Server instances. Experience with My Sites and Profile Service data, Experience with Excel services. SharePoint migration experience is a plus.

  • 4+ years of Experience in SharePoint administration or development in an enterprise environment
  • Required IAT Certs: one or more of the following: Sec+, CASP, CISSP
  • Required Vendor Cert: Microsoft, VMware, or any other related vendor certification

Preferred:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience working with the Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Prior Military experience

Physical Requirements:

Most work will be done at a desk or computer.

Work Environment:

General Office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers.

Attendance:

Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. 

Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.

Other Essential Functions:

Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.

Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing. Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must work well under pressure to meet deadline requirements. 

Although rare, must be willing to travel as needed. 

Must take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motor vehicle records check. Must be a US citizen.
