We are seeking for a skilled Medical Science Liaison (MSL) at Novo Nordisk. This position involves serving as a crucial link between the company and the external medical community, particularly Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). The MSL will share scientific information about attention pathologies and NN-developed innovations while gathering valuable insights for internal strategic use. The Position

As a MSL - Medical Science Liaison you will act as a clinical and therapeutic resource in the development and maintenance of the knowledge of current products, as well as in the investigation of experimental products and competitors, providing support, guidance, and scientific knowledge for internal collaborators/employees. Among with the development of the medical-scientific content of medical education programs and disseminate information to health professionals. Other responsibilities include:

  • Build strategic relationships with key opinion leaders and Health Care Professionals on demand by promoting therapeutic areas, and data on assigned products, based on in-depth, specialized academic, medical, and scientific knowledge to raise key scientific products’ attributes awareness.
  • Collect inputs with the key opinion leaders to publication planning to help increase scientific and medical knowledge on our products, encore´s presentation in national and regional Brazilian congress.
  • Collaborate with Brazilian Clinical Operations Teams with site selection and trials follow up ensuring ongoing functionality and integrity of research in Brazil.
  • Establishes academic, medical, and scientific expertise and maintains high, professional credibility and ethical standards in interactions with all customers, healthcare professionals and patients.

Qualifications

  • You hold a Medical Degree, preferably with specialization in Cardiology, Endocrinology, Hematology, Hepatology, Gastroenterology or Nephrology, with clinical experience.
  • You have an advanced level of English in reading, writing and speaking, as well as fluent or native Portuguese;
  • Having worked in pharmaceutical industry in medical area is an asset.
  • You have 40% availability for travel.
