Impact expected

The Ops Training and Quality Assurance Lead oversees the development and improvement of training programs, integrating quality assurance practices to align with organisational needs. This role involves conducting skills assessments, fostering continuous learning, leveraging technology for enhanced training experiences, and establishing metrics for quality assurance. The role ensures effective communication and collaboration within our operations teams and champions professional development and leadership in quality and training initiatives

Challenges they will own

  • Develop and regularly update a comprehensive training and development plan, including goals, timelines, and metrics for success
  • Integrate quality assurance principles into all training programs, emphasising quality in every aspect
  • Conduct regular skills assessments to identify gaps and customise training accordingly
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the organisation
  • Establish feedback mechanisms to refine training and quality assurance processes
  • Define and monitor quality assurance metrics, using them to guide improvements
  • Utilise advanced educational technologies to enhance the learning experience
  • Promote effective collaboration and communication within and across teams
  • Support the professional development of training and quality assurance teams
  • Lead by example in quality assurance and training, demonstrating commitment to continuous improvement

What we are looking for in our candidate

Essential 

  • A history of developing and implementing comprehensive training programs, indicating a strong foundation in instructional design and a commitment to enhancing team capabilities and performance
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a high-velocity, safety-oriented service setting
  • Strong skills in data analysis, identification of skill gaps, and resolution of complex operational issues
  • Must be available for on-site work five days a week
  • Possess a clean and compliant driving record in accordance with company requirements
  • Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

Desirable 

  • Familiarity with and a working understanding of ADAS technology, including sensors, onboard hardware/firmware
  • Demonstrated experience in fleet operations, specifically in data collection and closed-loop testing of ADAS functions
