Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
This role is responsible for maximizing the profitability of the Factory outlets by implementing all the day-to-day trading of the department by reviewing sales and stock and ensuring all in-season activity is focused upon delivering planned sales, margin and terminal stock objectives, ensuring the effective execution of promotions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of key strategic priorities in line with the company and the market Merchandising framework.
- Deliver financial targets for his/her categories including Net sales, Sell through, Std. margin.
- Plan, manage, and monitor the seasonal open to buy to reflect sales trends and adjust buys accordingly.
- Work with key stakeholders including Marketing, Visual Merchandising (VM), Store Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics and CRM to deliver strategic priorities.
- Lead effective merchandise launch plan for FO and ensure effective execution.
- Ensures efficient implementation of markdown / promotions in order to deliver topline, bottomline & inventory ageing targets.
- Lead space management projects in order to efficiently manage right stock at right place in right volume.
- Drive efficient stock buying process from planned production & free stock list pool based on inventory forecast considering terminal from brand store & cancellation in market.
- Action & lead relevant projects time to time based on the business needs in order to achieve business goals.
Key Relationships:
- Field: Store operations, Supply chain, VM & Trade marketing.
- Wholesale: Controlling, Order book fulfillment/ Customer Service departments, VM, Finance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent command on English.
- Excellent attention to detail and analysis skills.
- Strong work ethics.
- Intermediate to advanced MS office skills.
- Understanding of retail management system and back office system
- Structured, process oriented at the same time approachable and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within a team environment.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree Marketing/ Business/ Sales focus/ Economics.
- 5-6 years merchandising experience – similar capacity.
