Finance Supervisor

Location : Bangalore

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring that we remain financially healthy and compliant with the Statutory laws. The successful candidate should be able to effectively work as a team member and provide accurate financial information to the senior management team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure robust accounting procedures and implementing financial policies complying US GAAP/ Ind-AS financial reporting accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities and work closely with other team members to ensure that work is completed in a timely and accurate manner. This includes the recording, adjustments and review of all accounting entries/records, creating schedules for GL, Balance Sheet & Accounts finalization.
  • To maintain a closing checklist on close activities and performing month-end reconciliation through Blackline.
  • To work closely with internal and external audits and ensuring compliance with operational and financial policies.
  • To handle GST Compliances involving ascertaining of monthly tax liabilities, eligibility of input tax credit and filing of Monthly returns, GST Annual returns, GST refund and GST Annual Audits.
  • To keenly participate in implementing new finance tools.
  • Relevant knowledge on Direct tax including TDS, advance tax and preparation of respective returns.
  • Relevant knowledge on finance process documentation and internal controls.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to other departments, such as sales, marketing, R&D and operations.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • CA with 4-6 yrs of experience in accounting, business accounting or finance. Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Good knowledge of key legislations like GST, Companies Act, RBI and Income Tax.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly in all levels within the organization.
  • Experience in SAP specifically in GL & FA Modules, intermediate skills in MS office- Excel and Power Point.
  • Experience in Blackline, Coupa, Concur & EPM will be an added advantage.
