The Procurement Manager will develop and implement company-wide procurement processes, and thoroughly review existing vendor relationships with recommendations and execution plans to management. Partner cross-functionally with our internal stakeholders to build impactful, efficient, and cost-effective vendor relationships. Drive key procurement strategies across spend categories to drive value and deliver savings, while also providing process support to enable efficiencies within the functional areas of the firm. The position will report directly to the Controller but will have a high level of interaction with senior management and operations, including leading recurring status meetings with both of our Chief Financial Officer and VP of Finance.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with new and existing suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
  • Facilitate and implement supplier relationship management programs that span multiple regions in close partnership with key business leaders
  • Develop a qualified vendor pool by utilizing appropriate procurement evaluation tools and processes, such as building a sourcing strategy, RFP process, contract negotiation, and partnership management.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of broader supplier and industry trends and dynamics
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand product requirements and align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
  • Be accountable for managing procurement end-to-end processes, including contract execution and monitoring project deliverables and key milestones
  • Enforce purchase order policy, provide instructions to our internal stakeholders, and document policy changes
  • Drive firmwide awareness of contract management program’s rules and procedures
  • Develop and maintain a close partnership with Accounts Payable team for process improvement, policy enforcement, and vendor related matters. 
  • Leverage Workday ERP to expand procurement capabilities including but not limited to preferred vendor lists, pricing catalogs, and cost saving reporting analysis 
  • Provide bottom-up analyses of key spend categories to help identify opportunities
  • Identify causes of performance deficiencies, design corrective actions, execute improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to enhance processes.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, outsourcing and service quality improvements.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Experience in implementing e-procurement solutions with exposure to systems development and supplier management.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.
  • Highly collaborative and able to work in a team- based environment with cross-functional input.
  • Must have intermediate skills in Excel
