Responsibilities:

  • Must be willing to work on a diverse range of projects and field work assignments.
  • Providing field work and office related support to projects related to site investigations for Phase I/II investigations RI/FS investigations, Brownfields investigation and green energy projects.
  • Under guidance of senior staff assist with field work tasks for on-going projects in local areas of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania and occasional out of local area assignments. 
  • Under guidance of senior staff assist in preparation of project planning documents, data evaluation and report preparation.
  • Working efficiently individually and on project teams
  • Tracking/meeting contractual and regulatory deadlines
  • Must be able to obtain medical clearance for field work at hazardous waste sites including lifting up to 40 lbs. and working for extended periods of time in the field, under hot or cold, humid, and wet conditions.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Environmental Science, Biology or related field
  • 1 to 2 years of experience with some field work investigations, environmental media sampling, low flow groundwater sampling experience
  • Experience with Windows-based software applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) is required, and proficiency with GPS/GIS field data-collection software is preferred.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects of various size and scope complexity.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a project team.
  • 40 HR HAZWOPER trained preferred or will train.
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Willingness for occasional overnight travel.
  • A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
