We are looking for a Nurse to join our team in West Ireland and Midlands! As a Nurse Advisor you will be supporting multiple patient services and healthcare professionals across a variety of clinical settings.

You will be carrying out intravenous infusions, phlebotomy, clinical and home visits, education on specific treatments and clinical audits.

Responsibilities:

  • Work according to the standards of the relevant professional bodies.
  • Comply with local confidentiality requirements
  • Implement programme process within potential sites
  • Understand and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Communicate the aims and objectives of the programme to all relevant health service and local personnel
  • Provide support to healthcare professionals and patients through delivery of intravenous infusion, phlebotomy, clinic attendance and education
  • Provide feedback to healthcare professionals as per programme requirements
  • Ensure client information is clear and concise and adhering to patient confidentiality 

As a Nurse Advisor, you are required to:

  • Be clinically competent in phlebotomy, cannulation and administration of intravenous infusions
  • Have general knowledge and understanding of the national health service (HSE)
  • Have the ability to manage one’s own workload with minimal guidance, and possess a desire to deliver results and meet deadlines
  • Monitor and plan to meet programme objectives
  • Maintain maximum standards in the use of IT systems
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
  • Demonstrate effective communication in all formats, both face to face, and over the phone/ virtually
  • Demonstrate flexibility regarding geographic coverage

Education & Experience:

  • Registered General Nurse, with post registration experience within the pharmaceutical industry desirable
  • Education and training experience advantageous
