What if you could find a position that leverages your previous technical experience and problem-solving skills? Our team is looking for you, an experienced Moving Target Indication (MTI) system engineer with strong collaboration and program management skills to provide guidance and support to senior level government directors for ground enterprise solutions in the IC and DoD.

This program provides SETA (Systems Engineering Technical Advisor) & SE&I (Systems Engineering & Integration) services to an IC customer with a focus on integration and operations of a complex mission system and supporting IT infrastructure. The contract support is part of the customer core team focused on all aspects of the systems life cycle including CONOPS development, capturing requirements, working with developers to deliver capability, testing to ensure capabilities meet requirements, transition to operations and operations support. The program also supports innovations/technology development, provides acquisition and project management support to government program managers and IT information assurance security support.

The selected candidate will have frequent client interactions, and support system and mission strategy development across the various ground offices. The candidate will have daily interaction with the customer and supporting contractors and will need to follow customer standards and processes as the program matures through the life cycle. Candidate will interact with multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) and support technical consultation, meeting coordination, and support to recommendation briefings. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Works with the Team leads, program managers and acquisition professionals to validate that acquisition strategy will support a technically feasible outcome that meets the customer's needs
  • Integrate Moving Target Indication (MTI) systems and initiatives in support of customer/mission partner requirements and work directly with our developers and users in operations
  • Understand system-to-system interfaces and act as an Integrator
  • Ability to assist in preparation of presentations and reports
  • Monitor system and segment schedules, recognize dependencies
  • Identify risks and opportunities
  • Aiding in meeting facilitation and information sessions
  • Prior agile development experience
  • Candidate will be required to sign and adhere to Non-Disclosure Agreement(s) and (2) Confidential Agreement and Conflict of Interest Certification

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Requires a technical degree: 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
  • Extensive Intelligence Community experience and work history with Mission Partners
  • Experience with Moving Target Indication (MTI) systems and Multi-INT Systems/Architecture
  • Previous experience as a System Engineer or System Integrator with MTI systems 
  • Experience identifying user/enterprise requirements, gap identification, analysis and way ahead
  • Expected to create/brief packages which include technical requirements, implementation plan, risks and success criteria 
  • Strong project management skills and ability to quickly/concisely brief project status to senior leadership
  • Familiarity with cloud-based product offerings/specifications and be able to offer solutions
  • Extensive experience with Agile process and deliveries of new capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, multi-task and lead several projects simultaneously

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
