JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: HR Head - EPD Commercial

Reporting to: Director HR

Division: Corporate Human Resources( CHR)

Location: City Office -Karachi -Pakistan

Job Summary:

HR Head - EPD Commercial serves as the first point of contact and key HR Business Partner to the Established Pharma Division and provides guidance and support on human resource-related issues. This position is directly responsible for providing transactional HR services and support and ensuring that services are timely and efficiently delivered to the employees and leadership of the division. The position is also acts as strategic HR advisor to business leaders on matters related to employee management, development, and succession.

This role also requires good knowledge and understanding of C&B function as the position also serves as local SME and point of contact for country C&B affairs.

Major Responsibilities:

Business Support:

  • Acts as an effective, primary point of the contact for the employees and managers
  • Manage ongoing relationships with stakeholders. Ensure that the division receives high standards of service
  • Provide, and supervise provision of support to the Field Force in the resolution of their queries, grievances, and day-to-day matters
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructure, workforce planning, and succession planning
  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
  • Ensure Divisional & Cross Divisional TMR of the Division’s Key position that are appropriate for business needs and consistent with the organization.
  • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
  • Drive processes for Annual Performance Assessment & Promotion Calibration
  • Close interaction with Sales leadership team for revamping the processes of Promotions, hiring & Disciplinary Actions
  • Responsible for Launch of Annual EPD Strategy & Philosophy for Employees

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Support in the designing and implementation of the organization’s compensation & benefit programs and activities to meet the organization’s objectives with regard to internal equity and external market competitiveness.
  • Administer the company’s compensation program in accordance with established policies so that employees receive the appropriate compensation for their position
  • Participate in compensation surveys
  • Advise for job analysis and evaluation, salary administration, analyse compensation surveys and obtain all necessary information to prepare compensation proposal and budgets.
  • Collect data about company’s Compensation policies and analyse them to prepare reports and advise managers for making important decisions.
  • May coach or instruct lower level colleagues
  • Review and develop HR standing operating procedures/ policies
  • Advise and educate employees on Company Policies and Procedures, and ensure uniform execution of policies, irrespective of Division.

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

  • 12+ Years of HR experience preferably in pharmaceutical and or FMCG sector with at least 5 years in a lead role
  • A Graduate degree preferably in HR. Relevant HR Certifications would be an added advantage
  • Strong business acumen, initiative and drive for the results. Ability to handle multiple stakeholders, high work volumes and pressure.
  • Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills. Must be able to communicate with all staff levels with equal ease.
  • Project Management and Change Management Skills
  • Strong Time Management and Priorities Management Skills
  • Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
  • Good understanding of Labor and employee related Laws.
