Key Responsibilities Would Include

Run procurement process for Capital, Spares and Services

  • Handle Procure to Pay (P2P) process for capital, spares and services, not limited to delivery date follow up, cash flow maintenance, budgeting process, invoice reconciliation.
  • Maintain timely delivery (OTD) to meet the network capacity requirement

Manage Supplier Relationship

  • Act as primary window of contact for site partners to suppliers and vice versa
  • Perform commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliers
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with supplier(s) while resolving supplier performance/capability issues
  • Ensure suppliers follow Micron's code-of-conduct programs and corporate social responsibility initiatives
  • Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization
  • Provide the voice of the supply base to Micron and provide the voice of Micron to the supply base

Identify and Implement Supplier-Related Savings Levers

  • Apply data and should-cost models to drive cost improvement
  • Serve as the subject matter authority for suppliers sharing knowledge with key partners

Drive Negotiations with Suppliers for Sustaining Purchases

  • Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals
  • Coordinate with Category Supplier Manager on global negotiations or lead local/regional sourcing events / RFQ process.
  • Develop a contract strategy for handled suppliers and build, negotiate, monitor, and carry out contracted terms and conditions

Ensure Supplier Performance Management

  • Partner with the Category team and ‘ to build comprehensive view of supplier performance
  • Collect and relay site- specific priorities to suppliers
  • Collaborate internally to drive and develop key performance measures/metrics for Strategic Suppliers and supervise supplier performance against these expectations to ensure continuous supplier improvement

Project and Program Management

  • Support complex, global and regional process transformation supporting Global Procurement.
  • Support projects and programs using an organized and results-focused approach to achieve all goals within budget, timeline, and scope constraints.
  • Participate in cross-organizational teams to define, build and implement business process solutions that increase efficiencies, improve standardization, and optimize procurement services.
  • Regularly report out on project status, handle risks, and implement solutions to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Implement processes to supervise partner happiness with key suppliers
  • Recommend targets to improve value such as high revenue, spend reduction, purchasing efficiency, customer services and supplier management

Data Analysis and Problem Solving

  • Provide market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal partners
  • Apply should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace
  • Analyze sourcing trends and make recommendations for assigned categories
  • Identify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue levers
  • Develop and ensure demand service level and safety stock attainment are met.
  • Establish methods for measuring and supervising program performance.
  • Leverage prior experience and learning to optimize and improve the efficiency of the methods.

Partner Engagement, Business Partnering and Leading Through Influence

  • Collaborate with partners to deliver strategic solutions
  • Grow to become a subject matter authority in your assigned responsibilities.
  • Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and represent Procurement
  • Exercise judgment and adapt accordingly to persuade others to adopt the change required for a successful implementation of the program.
  • Lead adoption with organizational change management methods and tools and gather program return of investment.
  • Develop positive collaborations to enable a competitive advantage, achieving program objectives and successful implementation.
