We have a great opportunity for a Sales Professional within the Regulatory Risk and Compliance space to join us.

The Sales Specialist has responsibility for driving the Risk business development activity into the Nordic region (existing customers and named prospects in Denmark and Norway).

As a subject matter expert to pre-sales and pursuit activities, you will act in support of Account Managers and Solution Sales focusing on all sales (new, cross-sells, up-sells) for the Risk proposition in a given territory with both existing and new customers. You will lead on deals aligned to specific propositions and serve accounts within a defined territory. The role works in close partnership with internal stakeholders to proactively drive gross sales and revenue.

This role sits within the Data & Analytics Division.

Key Responsibilities: 

The Customer & 3rd Party Risk Sales Specialist is responsible for growing the LSEG Risk business in a defined territory through prospecting for new clients and developing new business opportunities within existing customer accounts. The Sales Specialist must have domain knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance requirements and workflow. This includes: AML/KYC Screening, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and Regulatory Content within the financial or corporate markets. The successful candidate will be effectively positioning and demonstrating solutions in this area and through a consultative sales process

  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline in relation to Regulatory Risk and Compliance products and solutions, Worldcheck, Refinitiv Due Diligence, Digital Onboarding etc
  • Build lasting relationships with senior level customer contacts in AML, Compliance, Anti Bribery & Corruption & KYC Operations
  • Accurately forecast sales pipeline via LSEG CRM with weekly, monthly and quarterly focus
  • Research and develop territory to build focus lists of potential customers
  • Develop and Execute a business plan aimed at delivering against Gross revenue targets
  • Leveraging market research, domain, and solution selling expertise to determine customer needs and create optimal sales strategy
  • Maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry & regulatory trends and technical developments that affect target markets.
  • Establish, collaborate, develop, and maintain industry or other business segment contacts that lead to sales and robust pipelines
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations that educate the customer and shorten sales cycle
  • Developing sales and marketing proposals for customers on Refinitiv Risk products and services
  • Provide product feedback and enhancements required to penetrate new markets or accounts
  • Develop and maintain communication with a strong focus on collaboration to all levels of staff and customers

The ideal candidate will: 

  • Love to Sell!
  • Have domain expertise in AML, Client Screening, KYC, Enhanced Due Diligence
  • Superior interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills (verbal & written)
  • Have market expertise in financial services or large multi-national corporations and experience in constructing complex solution-oriented deals
  • Have experience in building strong relationships within large organisations
  • Understanding of cost justification methodologies relevant to the business and to the buyer, utilizing a value case to differentiate a solution from competitive offerings, building multiple evaluation criteria that are compelling to the buyer and developing business models that can be replicated and used by others
  • Be an opportunist and have a track record in solution selling
