SUMMARY

Hulu’s Content Partnerships team is seeking a Summer 2024 MBA Intern who will be an exceptional addition to our team. If you are someone who is a die-hard fan of content and the media industry, and has innovative ideas on how Hulu can continue to change the media landscape, then this is the role for you!

As part of the Content Partnerships team, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for growing Hulu’s live linear service (Hulu + Live TV) and managing premiums and add-on services. This team’s work includes negotiating content distribution agreements with major broadcast and cable TV networks, as well as other premiums and content add-ons. During this internship, you will work with the team to develop a project relevant to the Hulu + Live TV and add-ons business, and assist with strategy and analysis to help address strategic challenges of the content business today. The right person for this role is a self-starter, eager to learn, has outstanding communication and organizational skills, and approaches everything with passion.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Assist with negotiation strategy and review of Hulu + Live TV’s content distribution agreements and management of network partner relationships
  • Develop research to support competitive intelligence and develop industry expertise; partner with internal teams to drive initiatives forward to execution
  • Perform analytics on a variety of content areas to analyze the metrics and behaviors behind content consumption
  • Complete projects that drive efforts of the Content Partnerships team and Hulu’s live TV and add-ons strategy

WHAT TO BRING

  • Passion for entertainment, TV and technology with a deep knowledge of the digital media industry
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects concurrently, identify issues, quickly devise feasible solutions, and synthesize relevant information to internal partners
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to tailor messages for business, marketing and technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills, and excels in preparing presentations, memos and other written material

EDUCATION

  • At the time of application, must be enrolled in an MBA program; on track to graduate by summer 2025 OR must have graduated from an MBA program within 18 months OR currently participating in a Disney Professional Internship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS & PROGRAM INFORMATION

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Santa Monica and have reliable transportation to/from work
  • Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024 through August 2024.
