DESCRIPTION

At AWS, Security is priority zero. As part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Assurance team, we are looking for a technically deep Technical Program Manager who is passionate about owning far-reaching projects to drive continuous improvement across AWS at scale. As a part of AWS Security you’ll get to operate in a constantly changing environment and work with AWS business and engineering teams on business-critical, security projects and programs. We work across AWS to drive strategic security initiatives, design and deliver automation to reduce friction for assurance activities, and continue to raise the bar on security at AWS. Our team drives programs to enable customers to integrate control implementation and assurance from across all of Amazon.

Key job responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and implement governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions including but not limited to RSA Archer
  • Review GRC technical requirements provided and solution architect
  • Develop and tailor design approaches, methods and tools to support customer use-cases for managing cyber compliance risk and other assurance activities
  • Review technical Integration design documents to ensure alignment with customer use-cases
  • Strong writing and verbal skills to interface with internal and external customers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams
  • 5+ years of technical GRC development experience
  • 5+ years RSA Archer experience
  • 3+ years of system/data integration experience using S3, JavaScript Transporter, API

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • RSA Archer certification or provable hands-on development/configuration experience with Archer
  • Familiarity with other commercial GRC platforms/solutions
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $101,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
