Material Handler

1st Shift

We are seeking a material handler who has experience moving material in a manufacturing facility. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Transfer incoming parts from receiving to the warehouse and/or assembly lines
  • Transfer parts from one department to another
  • Replenish the lines to help maintain the required TAKT time for the cell
  • Move locations both physically and in JD Edwards when needed
  • Pre-draw components for work order completion
  • Help support process improvement activities through active participation in continuous
  • Help process MRB related non-conformances
  • Intermittent count verification of part receipts
  • Cycle count when material moves
  • Cycle count - based on ABC rules
  • Verify non-inventory "bulk" items and have bins clearly marked
  • Maintain cleanliness (5S) of work area daily
  • Transfer materials via company truck between two locations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship, preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience in material handling or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Valid, unexpired Driver’s License
  • Ability to read and comprehend intermediate instructions
  • Ability to operate all fork lift trucks, preferred
  • Ability to operate a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
