Job Overview

Booking Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Communications Manager to join the Global Communications team. The successful candidate will take a driving role in the team for co-developing and executing internal communications strategy, initiatives and events, while collaborating across the wider communications function to contribute to earned media strategy, social media and thought leadership. The successful candidate should have extensive experience in boosting alignment, engagement, collaboration, and creativity for employees worldwide at leading multinational corporate organizations, developing engaging strategic narratives, campaigns and content for a diverse employee base, and leveraging a range of channels and formats. Highly organized and results-driven, this person should also have experience working with senior business leaders, be comfortable working in a fast-paced high-tech organization, and have co-managed crises and issues communications responses across a complex organization. This person has the opportunity to have an impact in devising and driving critical initiatives within the Communications organization and will be a contributor to the success of the Communications function. The Manager will report to the Director Global Communications and support key members of the Communications teams at Booking Holdings and its brands.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Taking a leading role in executing the global Communications strategy for Booking Holdings among employees, as well as collaborating with the team on wider media, social media, reputation, crisis and issues management. 
  • Evolving internal communication formats, channel strategy and cadence in line with distributed workforce and changing business realities.
  • Developing an approach to provide regular cross-company, cross-brand visibility on relevant projects, milestones, wins, developments and best practices, taking ownership for internal editorial calendars, and syncing closely with other communication teams across the company’s brands.
  • Planning and executing the marking of major company moments through live, hybrid and virtual events and content, scaling quality and impact.
  • Growing visibility of cross-company leadership teams, business units and initiatives to enhance breadth of employee knowledge and engagement
  • Exploring and implementing enhanced measurement methodologies and best practices for different channels and content formats to track and optimize internal communication company-wide and to different audiences.
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Compliance & Ethics, Sustainability, D&I Recruitment Marketing, and other departments to support in planning and execution of communication needs and create a consistent, coherent cadence of events and content for all internal stakeholders.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.

The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $125,000 - $153,000.
