Senior Lead, Data & Analytics

Senior Technical Lead, Data & Analytics is responsible for developing robust, scalable, high-performance Analytics systems and implementing system enhancements to Enterprise Business Intelligence and Analytics systems. This role will leverage technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, PowerBI, and Databricks to implement enhancements to enterprise analytics platforms. Responsible for guiding the technical direction of Data and Analytics, leading a talented team, and ensuring that technical solutions contribute meaningfully to the organization's overall success.

What you will do:

  • Technical Leadership:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of data engineering and analytics solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data engineering team.
  • Azure Data Platform Expertise:
  • Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake for building scalable and efficient data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with PowerBI and Databricks for data visualization and advanced analytics.
  • Legacy BI Tools and Technologies:
  • Solid understanding and experience with legacy business intelligence tools and technologies.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance the existing BI landscape.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members to foster skill development and growth.
  • Work closely with the IT team to integrate data engineering solutions into overall IT architecture.
  • Strategic Vision:
  • Drive the vision and strategy for major enhancements to Enterprise Business Intelligence and Analytics systems.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.

What you will need:

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience required
  • Ability to analyze business situations
  • Proven experience as a Data & Analytics SME with a strong focus on the Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake data analytics technology stack.
  • Proficient in SQL and extensive experience with Azure services, Databricks, and Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with big data and advanced data science technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required, Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study preferred. 
  • Azure based data engineering certifications preferred.
