Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in maintaining safety guidelines, procedures, and requirements.
  • Assist in ensuring and monitoring environmental, safety, and health programs.
  • Support Occupational safety, health, and environment management in terms of coordinating with the government for documentation or report-related legal requirements for HDD operation.
  • Monitor and audit hygienic canteen audits to comply with EHS standards and regulations.
  • Support regular industrial hygiene monitoring in the workplace i.e. illumination, Noise level.
  • Conduct food/drinking water monitoring.
  • Support health activity.
  • Able to effectively communicate safety training.
  • Conduct EHS awareness orientation training for initial new-hire DL employees and caterers.
  • Conduct Regular contractor safety training programs.
  • Create and maintain the EHS system database, record, and documentation.
  • Monitor and audit the working area, hot work permit, contractor safe work, PPE usage, and hygienic canteen audit to comply with EHS standards and regulations.
  • Support accident/ incident investigation.
  • Leader to conduct and validate the safety good catch report.
  • Support emergency preparedness i.e. update ERT organization, evacuation drill, ERT cabinet audit, and update emergency contact person number.
  • Promote the EHS activities and communicate the EHS information
  • Gather and keep all issues/documents of EHS to report
  • Support and Coordinate special projects related to EHS
  • Coordinated with government & vendor on issues related to EHS.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Diploma or higher in any related fields. 
  • A minimum of 1-4 years in EHS function or relevant working experiences.
  • Technical knowledge related to OHS&EMS management.

PREFERRED:

  • Working knowledge of measurement instruments
  • Contactor safety management program.
  • Registered safety officer in technical level is preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Internet, and E-mail.
  • Able to communicate inf English proficiency (written/ verbal).
  • Able to communicate safety knowledge to employees.
  • Able to manage priorities of EHS tasks.
