The Opportunity

Adobe generated ~$19B revenue in FY 2023 and has completed ~$10B in strategic acquisitions since 2018. Our Corporate Development team strategically identifies, sources, evaluates, and executes Adobe’s inorganic growth roadmap, including acquisitions, divestitures, and investments.

We are looking for grounded, thoughtful, and fun teammates to drive Adobe shareholder value through exceptional, ground-breaking opportunities – from sourcing to diligence, deal execution and integration planning. This individual will work with executives on strategic issues across product, product marketing, sales & sales operations, marketing, IT, finance, legal, and HR.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with internal partners to develop strategic investment themes and assess potential acquisition and investment opportunities.
  • Identify product gaps, evaluate build/partner/buy, and collaborate on target selection.
  • Conduct comprehensive, meticulous analyses to influence decision-making, including industry TAMS, competitive landscapes, customer overlaps, as well as valuation and financial models.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the M&A process (e.g., due diligence, data rooms, internal updates), support M&A integration workstreams, and leverage suite of corporate development systems & tools.
  • Establish a robust understanding of new customer segments, industry trends, market positioning, and emerging companies.
  • Embrace assignments and projects across Corporate Development and M&A Integration. Support post-acquisition integration efforts.
  • Develop external network of industry specialists to bring outside-in knowledge of market trends and opportunities.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Undergraduate degree from a top university in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or similar field.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Attention to detail. Strong work ethic. Proactive self-starter. Calm under pressure. High EQ and business intuition. Able to adapt to fast paced, ambiguous environments. High learning agility. Consummate teammate.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including presentation and memo formats. Strong spoken communication skills.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Tools, SharePoint, Capital IQ, Pitchbook; Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Excel macros, SQL and Power BI, a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience (4-5 years) in investment banking, corporate development, venture capital, private equity, or similar environments.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $99,900 -- $201,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
