What You'll Do

You'll help to create greatest impact among the biggest companies in the world by building end-to-end solutions with all types of technology, from big data and advanced analytics to AI development. You'll help to accelerate industry 4.0 transformation across all kinds of industries, from fintech to food companies.

Our designers translate the client's needs and desires into functional, simple and yet innovative user interfaces. In this role, you will work on projects that last from 2 to 9 months, across all kinds of industry and on different solution types. You will be responsible for the software solution design, transforming ideas into an user-friendly, innovative UI for our clients and users. You will help inform the design process and push the envelope of where design and business meet to deliver compelling design solutions for our clients and users. You'll actively collaborate with McKinsey consultants, UX designers and development leads to engage clients throughout the project. You'll do hands-on design execution and care for all aspects of design, from conceptual thinking to motion, design systems and visual design.

You will convert business requirements into tangible user interface to delight the users and will work with McKinsey's consultants and digital team to guide software user interface development for clients in different industries across all the value chain, with projects in all phases, from strategy to launch to optimization. You will inspire innovative approaches to design, using creative facilitation techniques, presenting your ideas to clients and helping to structure and organize workshops, sprints and external design events.

Qualifications

• 4+ years work experience with a focus on product design and UI across a variety of platforms including web, Android and iOS;
• Work iteratively and collaborate with the team on initial concepts, user flows, visual design, and prototypes;
• Attention to detail and care for design execution, from concept through delivery;
• A great eye for detail, demonstrate creative and innovative problem solving; 
• Highly skilled in Figma, Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite for design work;
• Prototyping skills (Principle, Framer, Flinto, etc.) are essential;
• Able to clearly communicate concepts and designs through sketches, wireframes, high fidelity comps, and prototypes;
• Able to function independently and in a team environment with solid collaboration skills;
• Exceptional attention to detail and comfortable working in rapid iteration;
• Extraordinary ability to advocate for UI consistency with designers, engineers, product managers, and executives through writing, visuals, and presentations;
• Documenting interaction details, visual design specifications and QA of the implemented product with the development team;
• Familiarity with accessibility standards, inclusive design practices, and accessibility features;
