Who You'll Work With

You will work with a highly collaborative team of sustainability experts to provide a backbone of data to support decarbonization projects. You will be based in our Wroclaw office as part of a global sustainability data community. You will be a member of the Sustainability Data Warehouse (SDW) team.

You will be working in a team of data analysts (total of 4 in team), together with data engineers, tech lead, product managers, solution leads, data stewards and sustainability experts.

You will be focused on building a data warehouse for emission factors and sustainability levers. SDW will serve as a hub & data backbone for all firm's sustainability solutions. We are in the early development phase of the product working on integrating external and internal data sources into SDW, data representation, and standardization. 

It is our goal to offer to our consultants, teams and clients the best and most consistent experience across all sustainability assets by powering them with the same set of robust and verified data. Our team cuts across many practices and is focused on building what is best for the firm and the clients we serve.

What You'll Do

You will be scouting and evaluating new data bases, building Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes, analyzing best practices of data representation and standardization, closing gaps by evaluating external/internal data sources, proposing modelling algorithms for missing data, taxonomy mapping and maintenance, maintaining a feedback loop with asset teams and client serving teams to identify data gaps in the SDW.

There is flexibility to hire at different levels, depending on candidate experience.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of professional work experience with data-oriented analytical products
  • Working knowledge of data architecture, data pipeline, data warehouse concepts, data modelling
  • Comfortable discussing data architecture, including data model design and implications
  • Knowledge of Python and SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to create innovative solutions for data content or data format challenges
  • Creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to influence and work with international teams
  • Good ownership mentality; desire to learn and develop within a dynamic, self-led organization
  • Strong command of the English language (both verbal and written)
