As a Senior Partner Marketing Manager at Snowflake you will be responsible for owning and driving Snowflake global partner marketing campaigns, programs and engagements from strategy through implementation to results for our strategic partnership with AWS. This opportunity is collaborative in nature and you will be working with Product Marketing, Industry Marketing, Customer Marketing, Corporate Communications, ABM, Developer Relations, and the Sales and Alliances organizations. In addition, you will align and collaborate with the Field Marketing organizations in the Americas, Asia, Japan, Latin America and EMEA. The primary focus of this position will be designing, developing, implementing, and managing demand generation programs with AWS to build a lead and opportunity pipeline for Snowflake that results in acquiring net new customers and increased consumption. 

This role requires someone to work from our San Mateo, CA office at least 3 days per week. 

A KEY MEMBER OF THE CLOUD PARTNER MARKETING TEAM, IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: 

  • Be the primary Marketing point of contact working with AWS; serve as a member of the Snowflake team that manages the AWS relationship 
  • Maximize the AWS partnerships through planning, execution and a desire to continually improve and evolve the partnership from a Marketing perspective 
  • Develop content including joint value proposition presentations, solutions briefs, industry use cases, customer stories, and blog posts 
  • Receive and respond to Marketing related requests from AWS; serve as one of their Snowflake subject matter experts 
  • Create opportunities for joint Developer focused events and programs that by working closely with the Snowflake and AWS Developer Relations teams 
  • Support major Snowflake events by ensuring AWS participates and provides complimentary content; contribute to the Snowflake presence at major AWS events by contributing content and writing the Snowflake submissions for AWS partner awards  
  • Deliver recommendations based on data driven results 

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: 

  • Experience working with partners to develop and build joint demand generation programs at scale 
  • An understanding of global cloud and data partnerships (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) 
  • Ability to demonstrate creativity through new campaign ideation, content creation, visual design, branding and messaging 
  • Proven success in working in hyper growth environments 
  • 10+ years of experience in a role focused on building technology and ISV partner marketing relationships and executing campaigns within a technology ecosystem 
  • Hands-on execution ability with effective project and time management. 
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills and the ability to adapt your messaging to meet your audiences, internally and externally  
  • Must be willing to travel on occasional basis 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
