Your role at Clorox:

In this role, you will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation and Reporting: Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of compliance activities, findings, and corrective actions. Help generate reports for management review.
  • Regulatory Research: Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to keep the team informed about changes and emerging trends in compliance requirements.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Collaborate with team members in drafting, reviewing, and updating compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Risk Assessment and Analysis: Assist in conducting risk assessments and analysis of business processes, applications and systems identifying potential areas of risk, and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Training and Awareness: Support in developing training materials and awareness campaigns on compliance policies and procedures for employees across different departments.
  • Monitoring and Testing: Assist in implementing monitoring and testing procedures to assess the effectiveness of controls and compliance measures.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to compliance activities and key risk indicators, helping to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as Legal, Finance, and Operations to address compliance issues and support risk management efforts.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by the Risk and Compliance team to support the overall objectives of the department and organization.

What we look for:

Education, Technical Skills & Experience

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or certification in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Network Security, Cloud Security or related program.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated use of computing environments (hardware, software, networks, operating systems).
  • Strong customer-orientation and concern for the user experience of technology.
  • Demonstrated interest in risk management, compliance, or related fields through coursework, projects, or extracurricular activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
