The Associate HR Services Specialist serves as the liaison to employees and managers in a call center environment and/or business location(s). This position will support the administration and coordination of the HR Shared Services Team and incoming case volume. HR-related functions include, but are not limited to, centralization and coordination of employee life cycle activities and tasks, HR Systems and transactions, and program and policy improvements.

Essential Duties:

  • Assist with pre-/onboarding new hires - background check, new hire documents, Form I-9 processing, etc
  • Workday data entry and transactions - process employee lifecycle events, including but not limited to opening requisitions, processing hires, job changes, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, one-time payments, manager reassignments, employee personal and contact information
  • Responsible for handling incoming Tier 1 employee cases and inquiries against customer SLAs and expectations
  • By utilizing “cloud based” phone system (Vonage), actively monitor and accurately track information about all calls and any relevant information or follow up
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR Services through timely resolution of requests/calls and evaluation of process improvements, program modifications, or policy implementation to streamline and improve the overall employee experience through active engagement with the HR Services team and the COEs
  • Manage and deliver HR transactional support (Workday “Super User”) including onboarding, password resets, requisitions, life events, job changes, compensation changes, manager reassignment, supervisory organization management, offboarding, and more.
  • Work both autonomously and in a team environment to provide HR Support to the Business Partners, Payroll and Centers of Excellence within HR. Utilize various resources to ensure that a complete and accurate answer is provided
  • Assist with other HR related projects as needed
  • Continuously measure performance progress against original plan
  • Drive conflict management and resolve and issues with a heads-on, proactive and positive approach.

Under This Roof, We Require

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Required 2+ years of HR experience - preferably various areas of HR such as Onboarding and Offboarding process management, HRIS, Benefits, & LOAs, supporting multi-site or remote clients
  • Must have a working knowledge of Human Resources and HR tools/systems (Workday, ATS/PeopleSoft, ServiceNow HR, ADP) in a multifaceted environment with COEs, systems and vendor interface.
  • Background/experience in working in a shared services function
