Team and Role Overview

Adenza is looking for an energetic and experienced Product Manager of Observability and Monitoring to join our fast-growing Adenza Cloud Services team, focusing on our Calypso suite of cloud-based capital markets solutions. The Product Manager of Observability and Monitoring will oversee and deliver a constantly evolving set of strategic initiatives to drive Adenza’s Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives across the whole of the cloud services division. Adenza has multiple cloud offerings across close to a hundred global clients. These clients come from across the whole of the financial markets spectrum and require 24x7 support. The Product Manager of Observability and Monitoring will work internally with Adenza’s operations and support team to deliver world-class observability tools to allow them to serve our global clients efficiently. This is a hands-on role where the product manager will engage directly with support as part of our ITIL problem, incident, and event management processes to ensure the roadmap and offering meet the needs of the service delivery teams. The Product Manager will also drive client-facing observability initiatives, both defining what our observability service offering should be, working with senior management to commercialize those offerings, and working internally to ensure delivery. The Product Manager will also work within the group to break down the SRE roadmap into practical, achievable enhancements and provide project oversight on the key roadmap deliverables. This role will report directly to the Global Head of Cloud Evolution and have direct touchpoints with all cloud division leads. A successful candidate will understand the unique nature of providing hosted solutions via Software-as-a-Service, have an established track record of excellence in driving Site Reliability Engineering initiatives, an ability to work both independently and collaboratively, a strong sense of initiative, and an enthusiastic adoption of KPI-driven performance metrics. The product manager will: collaborate with senior cloud management to develop the SRE roadmap; help produce ROI of the roadmap proposals which will drive strategic investment decisions; create KPI metrics to measure the effectiveness of the observability roadmap against business objectives such as operational efficiency; work across operational silos to ensure the roadmap is aligned with all Calypso departments; partner across the cloud on ITIL processes, and most importantly, provide hands-on project management of the SRE initiatives.
