Develop, implement, and monitor sales and marketing capability development plans, training, processes, tools, and systems, etc., to drive sales and marketing excellence
General Responsibilities
Manage departmental operating budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable
Manage and conduct capability development diagnosis, including training needs analyses. Highlight critical sales and marketing competencies required and recommend solutions
Develop, execute and monitor capability development plans and initiatives to drive sales and marketing excellence
Develop and implement processes, tools and systems to support capability development activities
Select/hire trainers (internal/external) to execute training programs. Up-skill trainers to ensure the execution of quality training programs
Develop and manage implementation of training programs to increase sales and marketing competencies, including delivery of training modules
Monitor and evaluate post-development outcomes (e.g. competency gaps closed, application of skills, etc.) to measure learning effectiveness
Evaluate effectiveness of the sales and marketing framework, plans, training, process, tools and systems, etc. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand their development needs and customize development solutions that will increase their competency levels
Build and maintain long-term relationships with external vendors to ensure sustainability of provided services

Functional Skills and Knowledge
Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers
Demonstrate sound knowledge in the general principles of sales and marketing; familiarity with the sales and marketing environment is a must
Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills
Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
Education
Degree or professional qualification in Business Studies/Marketing/Economics or a related discipline
Minimum three to five years’ experience in a similar role
Minimum two to three years’ experience in a managerial capacity
