Kemin Industries is seeking an Research & Editorial Intern to work with the worldwide corporate communications team on content creation, internal research, and information gathering to create new corporate narratives, build a digital content library/process, and assist with cataloging historical assets to create corporate communication pieces.
This internship will consist of two major projects: creating a 75th-anniversary Kemin history book and capturing the history/management of Kemin navigating the COVID-19 pandemic. The role will also work on various communication items such as website copy, media releases, social media, process optimization, internal communications, etc.
Candidates must possess strong writing skills, be curious thinkers, be collaborative and professional, and work well in a fast-paced corporate environment with global team members. This role will interact with senior leadership.
The position will be in Des Moines, Iowa, at the company’s global headquarters. A hybrid work schedule may be available based on the project(s). Kemin is a global company with teams around the world. The work schedule may change sometimes based on time zones. The internship requires 40 hours per week.
