We are looking for you to join our team as an Electrical Design Engineer based out of Woodland Hills, CA. As an Electrical Design Engineer at Northrop Grumman you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. What You’ll get to Do:

• Responsible for detailed design of Analog circuits and sub-systems.
• Design tasks include system level requirements analysis, sub-system level requirements development, conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design through design verification and transition to production.
• Analysis tasks include detailed circuit modeling, simulation and analysis, signal integrity analysis, electrical stress analysis, and worst-case circuit analysis.

This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Level or a Sr. Principal Level. 

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Electrical Engineer are:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience; Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience, or a PhD.
• Electrical circuit design experience
• Circuit modeling and simulation experience
• Schematic capture experience
• Circuit and sub-system test and troubleshooting experience
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance

Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer are:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 9 years of relevant experience; Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 7 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 4 years of experience.
• Electrical circuit design experience
• Circuit modeling and simulation experience
• Schematic capture experience
• Circuit and sub-system test and troubleshooting experience
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct experience in Analog circuit design
• Cadence CAE.
• Circuit board design.
• Signal integrity analysis.
• Worst case circuit analysis.
• Electrical stress analysis.
• Design verification and test.

Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00Salary Range 2: $125,800.00 - $188,600.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
