Technical Risk Specialist 

Are you ready to raise the bar on cyber risk management and contribute to making the LEGO Group cyber resilient? 

We are looking for a Technical Risk Specialist to join our Digital Security team at our appealing LEGO Campus in Billund. You will join a team of specialists focussed on cyber risk management and assurance. 

We need you to bring your knowledge and experience of risk management into play. You will enable our colleagues across the entire organization to identify and manage cybersecurity risks. 

This role is within the Cyber Risk & Assurance team that supports the LEGO Group in managing cybersecurity risk. Your will engage with a wide range of collaborators including, but not limited, to product managers, designers, engineers and engineering managers. You will help them to better understand their risks and identify appropriate mitigations. To enable the scaling of risk management you will identify patterns for security solutions, co-create designs, and support independent product teams solve their challenges. As trusted partner of our engineers you will provide relevant, timely and prioritized data on security threats, high risk vulnerabilities, and posture challenges.

We are a fast-growing area structured in highly dedicated product and service teams who support all colleagues across the organization on all aspects of cybersecurity. Digital Security is an integral part of the LEGO Group’s strategy to leverage digitalization.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Co-create the simplest possible solution that helps your colleagues to identify and manage technology risks using our cybersecurity framework 
  • Continuously refactor and enhance our library of guidance and support material 
  • Role model and champion good cybersecurity practices across the LEGO Group 
  • Provide security sparring with colleagues, demonstrating an eagerness to teach, learn and experiment with an agile mindset 
  • Contribute to our security data lake to enable evidence-based decision making and planning 
  • Lean in on agile practices, whilst also carefully managing a balance between security, features, bugs, and chores alongside our engineering, product and design colleagues 

Educational, Certifications, or Licenses Requires 

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience 

Candidate Experience 

  • Experience working with cybersecurity risk management in a large organization. 
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management and control frameworks including CIS18, NIST CSF, and the ISO27000 series. 
  • Demonstrable experience in identifying, assessing and advising cybersecurity risk mitigation in at least two of the following areas: enterprise information technology; operational technology; software engineering; enterprise architecture and models; business continuity and disaster recovery; and laws, regulations, and ethics. 
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to inform, inspire, and educate technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Appreciation for and ability to cultivate highly collaborative environment 
  • Defaults to inclusive behaviours 
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated 
  • Strikes a balance between perfection and frequent delivery 

NICE TO HAVE” 

  • Industry recognized certification in cyber security (CRISC, CISSP, CISA, CISM etc) preferred 
  • Experience with measurement and reporting on cybersecurity risk 
  • Experience in a similar role in a matrix organization with a high degree of autonomy across business
