The Senior Director of Engineering is a highly experienced and accomplished technology leader responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers to implement cutting-edge technology solutions at a rapid pace. The Sr. Director of Engineering will also be responsible for building a performant team by hiring, performance managing, coaching, and mentoring the team.

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to implement cutting-edge technology solutions at a rapid pace 
  • Build a performant team by hiring, performance managing, coaching, and mentoring the team 
  • Develop and execute a technology strategy that aligns with the company's business goals 
  • Define and evaluate enterprise and domain architectures 
  • Coordinate with product management and business teams to help define the technology roadmap and strategy 
  • Manage the technology budget and vendor relationships 
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget, and that the highest quality standards are met 
  • Manage and mentor other engineering leaders 

What you'll bring:

  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on ecommerce
  • Strong leadership and management skills 
  • Experience with a variety of software development methodologies 
  • Experience with ecommerce platform management, Salesforce or headless commerce platforms preferred 
  • Experience with digital marketing technologies and data platform management 
  • Experience with stakeholder management and project development methodologies 
  • Experience with budget management and technology vendor management 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms 
  • Experience with DevOps practices 
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
