What success looks like in this role:

  • Good experience in BI/BW Administration Workbench, ETL (Extract, Transform & Load), Generic Data Sources, Data Loading (Full and Delta), and Process chain scheduling/monitoring, Info package, DSO, Analysis Process Designers (APD) and Open Hub Service.
  • Proficient in trouble shooting, root cause analysis for aborted process chains, maintenance of process chains, Delta and Full Uploads using Process Chains and Info Packages to automate data loads into BI/BW.
  • Experience in exporting data from Open Hub Services to various third-party applications, like SQL Server etc., through database tables, flat files, and third-party tools.
  • Experience in data extraction from SAP R/3 Data Sources using LO Cockpit and Generic Extractors.
  • Informing the users about the success or failure and delay of the loads as soon as the activity is finished.
  • Good Experience in resolving issues related to data discrepancy between Source systems and BI raised through ticketing tool/email.
  • Experience in working with the BODS Designer on Data stores, Extractors, Workflows and Data Flows.
  • Experience on ODQMON flow with SAP extractors. Monitoring requests in the Delta Queue Monitor, Checking the Status of Current Requests, Investigating Failed Extraction Requests, & Closing Unconfirmed Requests.
  • Scheduling, Activation, De-activation & Monitoring of Batch jobs
  • Reimporting extractor/Tables to Local object library.
  • Fixing Batch jobs failures.
  • Verifying the record count of all tables with downstream after Batch job completion.
  • Ad-hoc runs of Batch job as per user requirement.
  • Selective Pull of requested data through Data Services Designer.
  • Experience with Business planning & consolidation console & Hana cloud integration console job monitoring.
  • Monitor, coordinate, and respond to support incidents as per SLA’s
  • Manage and fulfill service requests
  • Provide analysis of system defects as and when required
  • Undertake root cause analysis and problem investigation
  • Promote and foster good working relationships with clients
  • Understand / adhere to quality / security standards and processes applicable to the role.
  • Acquire and enhance technical knowledge of supported applications / systems.
  • Analyze, design, build, test and implement enhancements to existing systems and/or new applications.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, and contribute to project deliverables where applicable
  • Good knowledge on B4HANA & SLT
  • Provides alerts and situation status information to both client and Unisys management
  • Responds to service outages and other problems/issues.
  • Understands Customer Situations and Customer SLRs (Service Level Requirements) and acts accordingly to meet them

  • Participates in project activities. May be required to work in rotational shifts (24x7 shifts applicable) and provide on call support if required.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • University degree or equivalent education and experience • Minimum of 1 year relevant experienceExcellent verbal and written communication, logical and analytical skills. •Strong knowledge of ITIL Modules like Incident, Change and Problem Management. •Ability to support multiple clients/ technologies as part of shared support delivery. •Must be client focused, display interpersonal skills and be an effective team member.
