General Purpose:

CORSAIR is looking for a Senior Technical Marketing Manager to join our Global team. This role is highly technical in the PC field and requires a passion for and extensive knowledge of building PCs, different peripherals, and the PC hardware industry in general. 

You will be the go-to expert on all things related to our products and technical setups. You will be responsible for creating captivating marketing material, product demos (both online and offline), and provide assistance and information to all relevant teams.

The ideal candidate will be a PC and gaming enthusiast who has vast experience with both PC hardware and peripherals, and be able to explain, in depth, not only the function of each component, but also the individual features of a single product. 

Knowledge of compiling and presenting data in both spreadsheet and presentable form is also a requirement. The candidate should be able to spot trends, positive as well as negative from collected data and suggest actions in form of either informative videos, blog posts or product changes.

Trade show experience, online forum presence, and writing experience is heavily valued and candidates with experience in one or all of these categories will be given strong consideration.

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

Technical Marketing at CORSAIR is a key role. You will act as an advocate for the customer as well as create innovative ways to explain the features and benefits of our products to them. 

This high-impact opportunity allows you to leverage your wide technical skills and strategic storytelling abilities, working with senior leaders across functions and a world-class team of passionate marketers, while driving the growth of Corsair's business in the APAC market. 

You will travel to trade shows, perform product testing, create training documentation, interact with end-users both online and in-person, stay up to date with the latest tech and trends, and provide valuable feedback to the product development team that will be incorporated into future products. 

This position specifically will be heavily focused on the components and peripheral side of the business and requires a strong knowledge of the entire CORSAIR product lineup. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and create marketing assets with technical information to meet APAC Market / End User’s requirement. The assets include but not limited to, retail marketing asset (POSM, Comparison Chart, Brochure) and eCommerce marketing asset; 
  • Manage and support New Product Launch in APAC, including the product communication of unique selling points to channel partners and end user; 
  • Create or localized marketing content and product tutorial for channel partner and end user to understand the unique features of Corsair products; 
  • Be the product expert at events, including presenting Product briefs and introduction in an engaging way; 
  • Manage technical inquiries from channel partners and buyers; 
  • Write user-friendly content in both English and Chinese that educates end-users and sales accounts in the Corsair product lineup, and general market trends
  • Work with other CORSAIR team members, such as sales and PR, to create compelling content for their products or events.

As needed

  • Provide reseller and sales training.
  • Create user-focused how-to content.
  • Assist with all other TM responsibilities.
  • Attend trade shows.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • BA or BS degree in marketing, Engineering, Communications or related field; 
  • 10 -15 years of experience within product marketing for consumer products; 
  • Have built multiple PC’s, and have a deep PC related product knowledge and understanding; 
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter; 
  • Experience in writing product introduction/ documents for various audiences; 
  • Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. 
  • Native mandarin in both speech and writing
  • English speaker (B2 level minimum) and great PC tech-writing capability
