Job description for Test Engineer –II C06

  • Able to Analyze requirements which are complex business based scenario.
  • Develop, update and maintain test cases and plans.
  • Execute test cases and verify outcome based on the expected results
  • Create and execute Regression test plans and Post Production validation.
  • Review test plans/test results of peers and guide them in case of need.
  • Communicate effectively with Leads, Managers and Stakeholders. Attend all agile meetings (scrum, backlog, sprint planning)
  • Follow standard testing methodology frameworks, testing processes as a standard
  • Co-ordinate testing specific release activities
  • Create test models for release testing (plans, data and scripts) pate in structured walk-through and peer reviews
  • Participate in the coordination and execution of UAT testing
  • Participate in Lessons Learned as appropriate.
  • Identify defects and questionable functionality; manage defects through to closure
  • Resolve issues with unclear requirements and achieve a successful result
  • Triage and solve complex problems using structured troubleshooting methodologies

Experience required:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience for Quality Assurance
  • Knowledge of DB.
  • Knowledge in Payment domain is essential.
  • Knowledge of Linux commands.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in Automation Testing by using selenium and Java.
  • Should have good understanding of automation Framework, Scripting in Java.
  • Should have good exposure in CI, CD configuration and Jenkins.
  • Should have good experience in API testing by using Postman and API automation.
  • Should working experience in SoapUI.
  • Should be able Test Mobile app, IOS and Android.
  • Good to have exposure in Browserstack, Mobile app testing.
  • Should have good knowledge in writing SQL statements for data validations with exposure to database.
  • Ability to design, develop, test and debug tests cases/Scripts/plans/strategy documents
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of software development life cycle(s) (SDLC).
  • Document and interpret business and technical requirements for testing utilizing various development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Iterative, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Effective communication skills to articulate testing result data to multiple audiences.

  • BCA, BE/ B Tech (CS), M Tech (CS), MCA or equivalent degree.
